Glasscock, 91, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Heartsworth Nursing Center in Vinita, Oklahoma. She was born March 23, 1926 in Vinson, Oklahoma to Crill and Minnie (Jones) Bulls. Dorma graduated from Springlake High School and went on to attend beauty school in Amarillo. On June 20th 1947 she married the love of her life Charles Bernerd (Barney) Glasscock. In April of '48, their first son was born, Larry C. "Pete" Glasscock. They lived in Earth, Texas until 1969 when they moved to Delaware, Oklahoma. Dorma was the Post Master of Delaware until her retirement in 1988. She, wanting to spread her kids out a little, had a second son, Terry Lynn in September of '70. She loved playing the piano and steel guitar, and while playing the piano for the Earth Methodist Church, her dad told her to not adlib to the gospel songs so much because the congregation was beginning to pat their foot and sway a little. She was also a member of the Cornerstone Community Church of Nowata. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Dorma will be missed by all who knew her. Dorma is survived by two sons, Terry Glasscock and his wife Lori of Vinita, Oklahoma, Pete Glasscock of Canyon, Texas; two sisters, LaMoyne Garland of Littlefield, Texas, Willeen Davis of Amarillo, Texas; two brothers, Gary Bulls and wife JoAnn of Amarillo, Texas, Glen Bulls and wife JoAnn of Earth, Texas; seven grandchildren, Trenton and Seth Glasscock of Nowata, Paul Glasscock of Vinita, Caleb Whitney of Cleora, Ally Whitney of Bartlesville, Jim Robinson and Dana Lane both of Amarillo, Texas; two great-grandchildren Shelby and MacKenzee Robinson of Canyon, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Crill and Minnie Bulls and two sisters, Leona Parish and Beth Faulkenberry. She loved God, family, Cornerstone Church, friends, and will be long remembered for her "infectious" laugh. Heaven got a little louder on 7/23/2017, and if there was a piano handy, probably patted their foot and swayed a little.
