ARNOLD MOORE & NEEKAMP FUNERAL HOME, BARTLESVILLE, OK - Dorothy Ann Postrach, 96, a long-time resident of Bartlesville, passed away late Friday night at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville. Dorothy was born October 10, 1920 at Breckenridge, Texas to Homer Fugate and Minnie Ella (Holman) Fugate. Dorothy grew up in the Bartlesville area, receiving her education there and later attended beauty school in Seminole, Oklahoma. She met Earl T. Postrach and the couple was married May 5, 1939 at Independence, Kansas. Dorothy owned and operated a small grocery store in downtown Bartlesville and later was the School Matron for Bartlesville Schools, 19 years, before retiring. She was raised in the Methodist Church and in her later years, attended Spirit Church of Bartlesville. Dorothy was a member of Royal Neighbors and loved the outdoors, especially during the Fall season. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her sister, Eleanor. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Earl, July 7, 2003; by a sister and five half-brothers. Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Terry D. Postrach and his wife, Beverly of Nowata, Oklahoma and Danny K. Postrach and his wife, Cherlynn of Ramona, Oklahoma; one sister, Eleanor Turman of Bartlesville; five grandchildren, Terry Postrach, Tracey Nowlin, Danna Postrach Cooper, Misty Postrach and Matt Postrach; six great-grandchildren, Casey Elam, Kasadee Vaughan, Preslee Cooper, Tyler Nowlin, BaeLee Gulley and Taelor Postrach; and by two great-great-grandchildren, Chaten Elam and River Maree Vaughan. Visitation for Dorothy Ann Postrach will be held in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, with the family receiving guests from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday evening. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in the chapel of the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home with Pastor Ike Amaro, officiating. Interment will follow in the Bartlesville White Rose Cemetery under the direction of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home.
