Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, Bartlesville, Ok. - Dorothy Violet Morgan was born on June 29, 1918 in Bartlesville. She was the daughter of Gilbert Morgan and Mettie (Nelson) Morgan. She had lived her entire life in Bartlesville where she also received her education. On October 20, 1937, Dorothy married Everett Postrach in Nowata, Oklahoma. Four children were born to this union. Dorothy and Everett were married for 56+ years prior to his death in 1993. Dorothy had continued her residence in Bartlesville following his death. Dorothy was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Bartlesville. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, family and especially grandkids. Every Sunday, she would bake something special, such as pies and cakes for everyone to enjoy when they stopped by and visited. She also enjoyed canning and everyone knew her as a very good housekeeper. Survivors include her children, Lois Jean Lewis and her husband, Cleo, of Bartlesville, Gloria Sue Loeffelholz of Wann, Oklahoma, and Kathy Hamilton and her husband, Wayne, of Bartlesville; brother, Phillip Morgan; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett; son, Michael Postrach; brothers, Arthur and Lester Morgan; sisters, Mae Fisher and Genevieve Freeman; and son-in-law, Charles Loeffelholz.
