Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK 918-786-2261. Edgar Leonard Stotts, 70 year old Grove, Oklahoma resident passed away Wednesday July 1, 2015. Leonard was born on February 26, 1945 in Joplin, Missouri to Edgar Stotts and Betty Marie (Hunter) Anderson. After high school Leonard joined the United States Navy. He proudly served his country from 1963 until 1974. He married Mary Hamilton on June 13, 1974 in Miami, Oklahoma and together started a family. Leonard worked as a maintenance manager for Precision Machine in Grove, Oklahoma. He was an avid fisherman, especially bass fishing, and was a great mechanic, he loved working on cars and tractors, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, and granddaughter Bethany Kidd, and one great grandchild on the way. Leonard is survived by his wife Mary, of the home, son, Edward Stotts and wife Telly of Big Cabin, Oklahoma, daughters, Kimberly Heubel and husband Paul and Rema Stotts, both of Grove, Oklahoma, sisters, June Hopper and Janatha Anderson, both of Afton, Oklahoma, five grandchildren, Doyle, Caycee, Cody Edgar, Cody Wayne, and Stetson, and one great grandchild Gunner. Funeral services for Leonard will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday July 6, 2015 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Afton, Oklahoma. Pastor Blake Wallace will officiate Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Vinita, Oklahoma.
