Edna Cheatham

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK- 918-786-2261 Edna E. Cheatham, Grove resident, died peacefully Monday evening February 17, 2014 at the age of 91 years. Edna was born on October 26, 1922 in Red Rock, Oklahoma to her parents, George and Mahala (Donovan) Roberts. She married the love of her life, Glen L. Cheatham, Sr. in 1940. They celebrated 65 years of marriage until his death in September 2005. Edna was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was very involved in her church and was a longtime member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Edna is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mahala Roberts; her husband, Glen L. Cheatham, Sr.; and her sister, JoAnn Atchison and husband, Buryll. She leaves many loving memories with her family, son, Glen Cheatham, Jr. and wife Sharyn; brother, Lester L. Roberts and wife Barbara; niece, Pat Holloway; nephews, Michael, Ronnie, and Timothy Atchison; grandchildren, Kelley Morgan and husband, Brian, Les Cheatham and wife Michelle; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as many other loving relatives. Graveside Committal Services will be held at 2PM on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Olympus Cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma. Services are entrusted to Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove.
