Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma, 918-253-3222. Ella Moriah Locust, 19, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017, due to injuries of a vehicle accident in Bixby, Oklahoma. Police said Ella Locust, was in the passenger seat when the crash happened, near the intersection of 131st and Memorial. The car she was in was turning left into the new Kum and Go gas station parking lot when another car slammed into the side of them. Ella was born on February 20, 1998 in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was the "Baby Girl" to her father Knokovtee Locust and Lynelle (Turner) Locust. She was a 2016 graduated of Talking Leafs school in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Ella attended cosmetology school at Claire Sage in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She enjoyed singing at the Drum at Pow Wow's. Even though Ella claimed to be the "Tallest Midget in the World" she was definitely the boss of all those boys, her numerous cousins. Ella was preceded in death by her Uncle Lee Turner. She leaves behind her father Knokovtee Locust of Tulsa, Oklahoma, her mother Lynelle Locust (Darren Samuel) of Bixby, Oklahoma, her brother Nathan of Bixby, Oklahoma. Her maternal LeRoy Turner of Salina, Oklahoma, Eldean Turner and Glenn Buffington of Strang, Oklahoma, paternal grandparents; Rose Mary Whitewater of Tulsa, Oklahoma and James Locust of Evening Shade, Oklahoma, Ray and Betty Samuel of Bixby, Oklahoma, her nephew Noah Locust and niece Mia Jones, Aunts Stephanie Tuner, Cekuwe Locust, Nora Martinez, Sam Flynn and Andrea Samuel, Uncles; Richard Turner, Vfastv Locust, Arlen Samuel, Randall Samuel and Daryl Samuel. She will be dearly missed by her numerous cousins and extended family. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma. Services will be held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Piney Baptist Church in Jay, Oklahoma. Ella will be laid to rest in Piney Cemetery next to her Uncle Lee Turner.
