Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK....918-253-3222.....Elvis E. Orr, Jay resident, passed away at his home in Jay, Sunday October 19, 2014 at the age of 89 years. Elvis was born on September 21, 1925 in Hereford, TX to the late Robert Dale Orr and Rosie Amb (Stone) Orr. Elvis was raised in Wheaton, MO. He met his Lord and savior October 19, 2014. He served his county in the United State Marines during WWII starting in January of 1942 and was honorably discharge in November 1946. He was an avid fisherman and guided for many years. He will be greatly missed Elvis was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Robert Orr; one step-daughter Linda Tyner. He survived by one sister-in-law Kay Orr of Haysville, TX; nephews: Preston Orr and his wife Neva of Hesston, KS, Clinton Orr and Michelle Parker of Wichita, KS; step grandson Gary Bishop; longtime friend and caregiver Patricia Orr Coble; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two step-daughters: Denise Hubert and her husband Dave of Wichita, KS, and Tina Kurtz and her husband Keith of Mansfield, TX; as well as many other loving family members and a host of friends. Visitation will be 6:00 PM -8:00 PM Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay. Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Faith Mission Church in Jay, OK with Rev. Dewitt Teehee and Rev. Chester and Rev. Chester Crittenden officiating. Interment will follow at Butler Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay.
