Emanuel K. Gaziano, a seventy-eight year old resident of Grove passed away at Integris Grove General Hospital on Thursday, July 23, 2009. He was born on June 18, 1931 in Rockford, Illinois to Joseph and Antoinette Gaziano. Emanuel was a member of the United States Navy where he served in the Korean War. He worked for thirty-five years as a machinist for Warner Lambert before retiring. He enjoyed easy listening music, and collected Egyptian Items. In retirement, he did some machine and wood work and made his own lures in his shop behind his house. One of the main reasons he moved to Grove was to fish, he moved here in 1989. He loved to fish for Bluegill. His parents, Joseph and Antoinette preceded him in death along with his first wife Alice who passed in 1988, a brother Dominick Gaziano and a step-son Llewellyn James Shoonech. Survivors include his wife Rose Gaziano of the home, his sons Paul Gaziano and his wife Maggie, Joseph Gaziano and his wife Mary, a sister Jennie Smith, all of Rockford, Illinois, a step-daughter in law Mary Shoonech and grandchildren Andrea Gaziano, Emily Gaziano, and Anthony Gaziano, Devin James Shoonech, Darien Ann Shoonech. Also surviving are his Brothers in law John and Frank Landwherle and sisters in law Sister Florence Landwerle and Helen Landwerle and his babies Molly and Lumin. Services for Mr. Gaziano will be 1:30 PM on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove with Reverend Gary Bishop officiating.
