Ethel Danner

Ethel "Jane" Danner, 87 year-old loving mother, grandmother and friend too many, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday December 23, 2008 at the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born March 23, 1921 in Caney, Oklahoma to Mr. & Mrs. Marvin P. Flowers. She was married to Bert Wilson Danner on July 5, 1941 in Tulsa; he preceded her in death on January 27, 1985. Jane attended the First Baptist Church in Vinita, was a member of the AARP and worked the Red Cross Blood Mobile. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening flowers and vegetables. The family includes; her son Mark Danner and wife Debby of Edmond, brother in-law and sister in-law, Jack and Joan Danner of Oklahoma City, a half brother Ron Flowers of Oklahoma City, two grandchildren, Jennifer C. Danner and her fiancée Derek Speckman of Edmond, Chris M. Danner of Oklahoma City; two great-grandchildren Skylar Mooneyham and Jade Speckman; niece and nephew Babe and Larue Watkins of Snyder, Texas; also many other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Skip McClain will officiate. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Owasso, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. Online condolences can be made at www.honoringmemories.com.
