Ethel Stump

Ethel Viola Stump, 94, a resident of Jay passed away at Integris Grove General Hospital on Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Mrs. Stump was born on November 20, 1914 in Delaware County, Oklahoma to William Franklin and Della (Bowles) Davis. She had taught at Taylor School in early 1940's and then Jay Memorial Hospital from 1972 until 1983. She later married Quinton Raymond Stump he precedes her in death. She is also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Survivors include Virgil Ray Stump of Jay, Linda Kay Campbell and her husband Boise of Sand Springs, Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 25, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM on Friday, June 25, 2009 at the Mount Hermon Cemetery with Mr. Steve Stenzell officiating.
