Euel Herriman Euel Herriman was born May 18, 1916, in Madison County, Arkansas, to David Jasper and Alice Josephine (Davis) Herriman. He passed from this life September 8, 2007, in Nowata after reaching 91 years, 3 months and 20 days. He attended school in Asher, Oklahoma, and on September 11, 1937 he married Hazel Juanita Lindesmith in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. They made their home in the South Coffeyville area for the remainder of their lives. Mr. Herriman worked as an electrician and was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local #584, Tulsa. He was also a mason serving in the Delaware Lodge 477, and the Scottish Rite of Tulsa Euel was also a member of the Pentecostal Church in South Coffeyville. He will be missed by all who knew him. Preceding Mr. Herriman in death are his parents, David and Alice Herriman; wife, Juanita Herriman; granddaughter, Brenda Neher; great granddaughter, Gena Harriman; brothers, Darrell and Ernie Harriman; and sisters, Florence Yott, and Gracie Kidd. Survivors include children Lois Inez Wise, and her husband Dean, of Kingston, Oklahoma, Gary Harriman, and his wife Leanna, of Liberty, Kansas, Ronnie Harriman, and his wife Karen, of South Coffeyville, Kay Kimball, and her husband Walter, of Vinita, Oklahoma, Vernon Herriman, of Delaware, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sisters Ida Ewing, of California, Opal Jolly, of Konawa, Oklahoma; brother, Dan Harriman, of Konawa, many other relatives and a host of friends.
