Eula Anita Sanford, Grove resident, died peacefully at home on Wednesday December 30, 2009 at the age of 72. She was born on February 20, 1937 to her parents, Carl and Alice (Craton) Cromer in Sarcoxie, Missouri. Eula married the love of her life, Walter Sanford, on March 7, 1962 in Gainesville, Texas. Walter and Eula moved many times during their time together while Walter served our country in the Air Force, including Del City, OK, Fairbanks, AK, Sacramento, CA, Washington D.C., Fayette, AL, Alamogordo, NM, Houston, TX, Dallas, TX and finally settling in Grove, OK seven years ago. Eula loved cooking, gardening, traveling, fishing, crossword puzzles, spending time with family and friends, and she absolutely loved watching "Wheel of Fortune". She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Belinda Clevenger; son-in-law, 1st Sgt. Gary Keziah; sister, Mary Smith; and brother, Bill Cromer. Eula leaves many loving memories with her family, her husband, Walter; daughters, Pam Thurman and fiancé Rick Weeks, Cindy Sutton and husband Harvey, Diane Hardison and husband Don, Kimberly Sanford and fiancé David Kemble, and Melissa Keziah; 17 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Deanna Everitt; as well as many other loving relatives and numerous friends. Viewing will be 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday January 4, 2010. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday January 5, 2010 at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brock Davis officiating. Casket bearers will be Beau Lauber, Cody Lauber, Bryce Merchant, Gregory Keziah, Rick Weeks, and Don Hardison. Services are entrusted to Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove.
