Eva Lorine Suttee, 86 year-old Vinita resident, died Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at the Craig General Hospital. She was born November 11, 1920 in Cordell, Oklahoma to Calvin L. and Nellie (Hicklin) Long. Eva married Lewis Suttee in Miami in 1938. She was an active member of the First Church of God and was a foster parent for many years. Eva volunteered as a Gray Lady and helped with the Red Cross blood drive for many years. Eva loved her family and was very prominent in their lives. The family includes; her husband Lewis Suttee of the home, three daughters, Patti Colvin of Vinita, Dee Ann Cox and husband Jack of Muskogee, Melissa Paulk and husband Steve of Norman, one sister Ruth Brown of San Bernardino, California, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were, her parents, her mother in-law, Gertrude Crismon, sister, Mettie Mae (Mickey) Woodard, brother, Olin Long, son in-law, Kenny Colvin, grandson, Rick Colvin and great-granddaughter Lori Colvin. The funeral will be held Friday, June 1, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Church of God in Vinita, Pastor Eddie Wrinkle will officiate. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita.
