Everett Lee "Buddy" VonSchriltz 56 year old resident of Claremore, formerly of Big Cabin, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at his home. He was born on November 6, 1957 in Vinita to Floyd G. and Lucille B. (McHaney) VonSchriltz. Buddy attended Big Cabin schools and was of the Baptist Faith. He worked as a truck driver for many years, driving for A Lady Transportation and McNally Brothers, until his health prevented him from driving. Buddy married Evelyn Mae (Rogers) on March 2, 2001. He will be fondly remembered as a man who never met a stranger, visiting wherever he may be and having a cup of coffee. Buddy enjoyed doing things and helping his friends and family out in any way he could. He was a member of the Adair Masonic Lodge. Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers, Joe and Marvin VonSchriltz and sister Wilma Bailey. The family includes his wife Evelyn of the home, children, Kathryn VonSchriltz, Landon VonSchriltz, Lora Mae Moss and Emily VonSchriltz all of Claremore; siblings, Ann McGraw and husband Charles of Norman, Charles VonSchriltz and wife Tricia of Adair, Terry VonSchriltz of Big Cabin, Gay Seiber of Lone Oak, Texas and Treva Stogner of Enid; numerous other relatives and friends as well. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday December 2, 2013 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Luginbuel Chapel in Vinita. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
