Funeral services for Fay Lynn Ward are 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 24, 2014 at the Hillside Christian Church Family Life Center with Pastor Wendell Abbott officiating. Fay Lynn Ward, of Nowata passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at her home. She was born February 9, 1968 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Diana L (Chaffin) and Robert Pendley. Fay Lynn came to Nowata at an early age and has been a resident since that time. She was a graduate of Nowata High School and a member of the Nowata First Church of God. Fay Lynn married Tim D. Ward on October 25, 1993 at Nowata. She had worked as traffic director for KMOD radio in Tulsa, Regent Bank of Nowata, Teacher's Aide at Nowata Schools, South Coffeyville City Hall and worked with her husband's business, T&T Construction. Fay Lynn loved taking care of her family and spoiling kids in general. She loved dogs, music, arts & crafts and playing pranks on her family and friends and assisting with her daughter's cheerleading activities. Fay Lynn is survived by her husband, Tim of the home; two children, Timothy Reid Ward and Kelsey Lynn Ward both of the home; her mother, Diana Pendley of Eufala; a brother, Rob Pendley of Nowata; ten nieces and nephews, Amanda Wattenbarger, Elizabeth Pendley, Nicole Pendley, Zach Ward, Dalton Ward, Parker Ward, Ethan Ward, Andrea Ward, Andy Sutton, Grant Delmas; a great niece, Addison Fay, several aunts and uncles, and many, many friends. She is preceded in death by her dad, Robert Pendley.
