Flora Bardsley

Luginbuel Funeral Home - Vinita - 918-256-5555.... Flora Louise Bardsley, 92 year old Vinita resident, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 2, 2015. Flora was born in Chetopa, KS on February 2, 1923 to Walter and Ethel (Allen) Emert. On December 31, 1946 she was united in marriage to Neil Bardsley. Flora was an avid reader, enjoyed needle work, was a wonderful cook, a caregiver to everyone, and never met a stranger. She loved the Lord and loved her family. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include her daughter Diane Bardsley of Vinita, special grandson Jamison Bardsley and wife Ainslie, as well as 5 other grandchildren, special great grandchildren: Jamie Bardsley and Isaiah Morgan, as well as 19 other great grandchildren, and daughter-in-law Effie Bardsley. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son William Bardsley, great grandson Joshua Bullard, and siblings: L. R. Emert, Juanita Brashear, Lula Murphy, Mary Garrett, and Robert J. Emert. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2015 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Chetopa Methodist Church, 4th and Locust Street, Chetopa, KS with Pastor Joe Dockery officiating.
