Florence Jackson

Florence Nadine Jackson passed away Friday August 25, 2017 in Tulsa, Ok. She was born August 15, 1932 at White Oak, Ok: the daughter of Guy Franklin Griffith and Martha Patsy Dameron. Florence was raised and attended school at White Oak. Florence married RC Charles May 26, 1951. She has always lived on a farm and worked hard by helping to do all the jobs from haying to caring for the livestock. She retired from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and then went on to teach at White Oak School. Florence was a charter member of Craig County Baptist Church where she enjoyed playing the piano. She was a seamstress and sewed cloths for herself and family. Florence enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was preceded by her mother, father and the father of her children, RC Charles in 1979; her second husband Jack Jackson in 1998; five sisters Opal, Mary, Helen, Wilma, and Faye; one brother Jack: two great-grandchildren Angelina, and Case. Survivors Include: one daughter Lisa Nix and husband Tom of Adair, Ok; three sons Dale Charles and wife Rhonda of Welch, Ok ;Greg Charles and wife Gwenna of Vinita, Ok; Stan Charles and wife Kerri of Vinita, Ok; one sister Rhea Graves of White Oak, Ok. Grandchildren: Tobie Gatewood, Shane Charles, Cody Nix, Mandie Kuykendall, Nikki Molloy, Lacie Cribbs, Cheyene Charles, Tyler Charles, Kaylee Ridgeway, Kegan Charles, Ethan Charles and eighteen great-grandchildren. There will be a family visitation on Monday August 28,2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be Tuesday August 29, 2017, 2:00 pm at White Oak Baptist Church with Pastor Claud Strong officiating. Interment will follow at White Oak cemetery.
