Floyd Jett, Jr. Obituary Jay, OK - Floyd Jett, Jr., 79, died Wednesday morning, February 7, 2007 at Grove General Hospital in Grove, OK. Floyd was born June 16, 1927 at Vinita, Oklahoma to Floyd Jett, Sr. and Ella Curry. Floyd married Cora Anaya on December 22, 1954 in Denver, Colorado. The couple moved to Monkey Island in 1997. He was owner and President of New Mexico Steel Erections in Albuquerque, New Mexico, prior to his retirement in 1985. Floyd enjoyed outdoor activities. Two of his favorites were fishing on Grand Lake for Crappie and Bass, and playing golf. Survivors include his wife, Cora of the home; one daughter, Katherine Williams of Jay, OK; one son, Joseph Jett of Denver, CO; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and by one brother and one half brother. He was also preceded in death by his son-in-law, Simon Williams. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 12, 2007 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, OK, with Rev. Doug Rainbolt officiating. Interment will be in Duffield Cemetery, Jay, Oklahoma under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., Sunday, at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, friends who wish may donate to the charity of their choice.
