Frances Kidwell

Frances June Kidwell, age 85, died on November 14, 2010 at the Integris Grove General Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma. Frances was the daughter of Marcus and Mae (Huggins) Ashby. She was born on January 30, 1925 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Frances volunteered with the Cherry Reds, was a member of the Monkey Island Fire Department Auxiliary, the Monkey Island Woman's Association, and was a member of the Buckaroos Square Dance Club. Frances was united to Lloyd Kidwell who preceded her in death in 1999. Frances is survived by her son Doug Kidwell and his wife Phyllis of Monkey Island, Oklahoma, two grandchildren Dr. Tim Whitacker and his wife Anne Marie and Kelly Tyre and her husband Scott, four great-grandchildren C.J. Whitacker, Bryson Whitacker, Bethany Tyre and Emily Tyre. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one daughter June Whitacker. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the Lake Center Baptist Church on Monkey Island, Oklahoma with Pastor Kim Hays officiating. Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 19, 2010 at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Memorial donations can be made in Frances's name to the Integris Grove General Hospital Women's Center.
