Frances R. White, 89, of Grove, Oklahoma died at 3:05 a.m., Monday, February 09, 2009 at her home. Frances was born January 10, 1920 in Nowata, Oklahoma to Walter William and Allie Lerlene (King) Rozzell. She attended schools in Nowata and graduated from Nowata High School. Frances was a homemaker who took her role seriously. She was an excellent seamstress, a gourmet cook, a superb baker, and even an accomplished upholsterer. However, of all of Frances achievements, she was the proudest of her family. Frances was a member of the First Christian Church in Nowata. She regularly attended the Grove Christian Center in Grove while her health allowed. On May 31, 1941, she married Ulis Francis "Pat" White in Vinita, Oklahoma. Frances and Pat moved to Grove in 1991. He preceded her in death in July 1992. Survivors include her daughter, Sheri L. Sanders of Grove; five grandchildren, Paul Sanders and his wife Fabiola, Rebekah Russell and her husband Joshua, and Naomi BeBee all of Grove, Elizabeth Lewis and her husband David of Talala, and Richard Sanders and his wife Maureen of Fredricksburg, Virginia; ten great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Grove Christian Center with Pastor David Knox and Paul Sanders officiating. Burial will be follow in Memorial Park, Nowata, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be John Walkingstick, Joshua Russell, Daniel Fields, Norman Smith, Mike Lilburn, and Larry Latham. Dana Carbone will serve as an honorary pallbearer. The family suggests memorials to Gideon International. Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
