Frank Butler

Frank Butler 70, of Bartlesville passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2008. Frank was born on September 3, 1938 in Stratford, Oklahoma to Ray and Jewel (Hooper) Butler. He was a valuable member of the Bartlesville Fire Department for 25 and half years. Frank married Patricia on December 23, 1960 in Bartlesville. He has made Ochelata his home for the past 52 years after moving from Mt. View, Oklahoma. Frank enjoyed spending time outdoors doing yard work and admiring the flowers. One of his greatest joys in life was spending time with his grandson, especially their fishing trips. Frank is survived by his wife Patricia Butler, his daughter Andra Peterson and her husband DeLee, his grandson Brody Peterson, his mother Jewel Mullinax, 6 siblings Bonnie Mandrell, Shirley Stubbs, Clifford Butler, Orvel Butler, Leo Butler, and Ronnie Butler. He was preceded in death by his father Ray Butler and his grandson Cordell Peterson. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at the Ochelata Cemetery in Ochelata, Oklahoma with Thomas Ballard officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Visitation for Mr. Butler will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2008 and 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2008 in the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Frank's name can be made to The Dewey High School Athletic Department, #1 Bulldogger Road, Dewey, OK 74029.
