Frankie Lee Arthur Hopkins, passed away at in Grove, OK, Wednesday, February 14, 2012 at the age of 78. Frankie was born February 5, 1934 in Eucha, OK to Arthur W. Hopkins and Lois (Cannady) Hopkins. Frank married Delores Theresa Ladner on November 3, 1953 in Popular Ville Mississippi. He served in the US Air Force from Feb. 9,1953 to Feb 26,1963 were he earned the rank of Staff Sergeant. After his years of serving in the military he worked as a service manager for Otasco until he turned his career towards mechanics working on automobiles and diesels for many many years. He was a faithful follower of the Lord were he ministered at the Adair Church of Christ for 45 years. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His family was precious to him. He loved the time he spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both his parents, one son Kenneth Ray Hopkins, one daughter-in-law Lori Hopkins, one brother-in-law Robert Boice and two nephews Steven Hayward and Bobby Boice. He is survived by his wife Delores of Eucha, Ok., three sisters: Wanda Boice of Vinita, OK, Mickie Hayward and husband Jim of Vinita, OK., Ruby Meadors and husband Dee of Charleston, AR.; one brother Jessie Hopkins and wife Charlotte of Tyler, TX.; two sons: Arthur L. Hopkins and wife Billie of Vinita, OK, Earl G. Hopkins and wife Jean of Vinita, OK; and one daughter Patti King and husband Kenny of Eucha, OK.; 10 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Granddaughter along with a number of other family and friends. Services will be held at the Vinita Church of Christ on February 18, 2012 at 2PM with Mr. Dee Meadors, presiding. He will be laid to rest at the Eucha Cemetery by escort of the Patriot Guard Riders with all military rites. The family will greet friends from 6PM to 8PM on Friday evening, February 17, 2012 at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita, OK.
