Luginbuel Funeral Home - Vinita - 918-256-5555........... Frank Lee McCabe, 79 year old Vinita resident, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015. Frank was born in White Oak on July 14, 1936 to John and Esther (Rame) McCabe. He proudly served in both the United States Navy and Army. Frank was a great cook, loved to fish and hunt, could fix anything, but most of all he was a man of great character. He deeply cared for others and was always willing to help anyone he could. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his children: Saban McCabe and wife Leona of Fairland, Tanya Beckley and husband Chris of Pittsburg, KS, Charlotta McCabe of Afton, and Roy Phillippi of Vinita, best friend Jannie Scott, siblings: Nadine Galvin of Vinita, Lahoma Elsey and husband Tony of Bluejacket, Tony McCabe of Tulsa, David McCabe of Bartlesville, Jack McCabe of Miami, and Don McCabe of Bartlesville, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Donna McCabe, siblings: Jerry McCabe and Charles McCabe, daughter Sarah Phillippi, and brother-in-law Pat Galvin. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2015 at the White Oak Cemetery with Rev. George Vaughn officiating.
