Frank Schoonover, 80 year old White Oak resident, died Saturday, January 11, 2014. Frank was born in Holly, Colorado on August 3, 1933 to Oman and Vera (Cochran) Schoonover. He served in the United States Army from 1953-1955. On September 15, 1983 he was united in marriage to Nancy. Frank worked as a heavy equipment operator for numerous years. Survivors include his wife Nancy, children: Ronnie of Stark City, MO, LaDonna of Neosha, MO, Nelda of Neosho, MO, step children: Pam of White Oak, Kevin of Jenks, Don of White Oak, and Angie of Big Cabin, siblings: Lynn of Riverside, CA, Hallie and wife Linda of Fairview, MO, Roger of Stark City, MO, Mary Ann and husband David of Diamond, MO, 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the White Oak Cemetery with pastors Leland Bartlett and Geoff Buffalo officiating.
