Frankie Durr

Frankie LUNELL Durr of Claremore, Oklahoma died at 3:30 pm on December 3, 2009. . . In addition to being a wonderful mother, wife and friend, she knew how to have a fun. Her laughter was contagious and she was always "Good to go". Though being captured in the fog of Alzheimer's disease over the past 5 years, Nell has left many special memories in the hearts and minds of anyone who knew her. After retiring in 1998, Nell spent much of her time volunteering in Claremore and going anywhere with anyone who was going somewhere and had an empty seat in the car. Her insatiable hunger for adventure was fueled by a desire to fill the emptiness left by the death of her husband Travis in 1986. Rekindling friendships and establishing new connections showed her to be a real fighter and one who loved life. The Mother of three, a Grandmother of nine, a Great Grandmother of seven and a friend to many. . Nell will be missed and remembered. Services are schedule for Monday December 7, 2009 - 2:00 pm at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home in Langley OK, with burial at Ketchum, OK to follow. Viewing will be held Sunday afternoon December 6, 2009 from 3 to 5.
