Frankie Gayle Redwine, age 52 of Vinita, was born on August 14, 1957 to Frank and Ruby Redwine. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church. Frankie worked at Home of Hope for several years and loved working with the developmentally disabled. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren Mikkah and Brooklyn. She loved all animals and children. She had the joy of meeting Willie Nelson with her lifelong friend Debbie Heard. She was a member and Sunday school teacher of the "Bible Buddies" at White Oak Baptist Chuch until her illness prevented her from teaching. Gayle fought a long and courageous battle with cancer and went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2010. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Belle Dameron, father Frank Redwine, brother Floyd "Spike" Horton, and uncle John "Bunk" Dameron. She leaves behind her mother, Ruby Redwine, her only child Charity "Shelly" Redwine, four sisters: Iva Willbourn of Vinita, Nancy Markel of Amsterdam, MO, LeAnn Kimberlin and husband Randy of Vinita, Gina Hamilton and husband Mike of Vinita, aunts: Betty Dameron of White Oak, Annie Bolton and husband James of Orlando, FL, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 6, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2010 at White Oak Baptist Church with Pastor Leland Bartlett officiating. Interment will follow at White Oak Cemetery.
