Frankie Sharon Thomas passed away Saturday September 20, 2008 at Jane Phillips Medical Center. Frankie was born February 3, 1945 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Kennith and Alice (Rickman) Thomas. She lived her whole life in Bartlesville. Frankie attended Labadie Heights, Central, and College High. In June of 1963 she went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone and after 29 years she retired and later began working for the Keepsake Candle Factory. She had a deep love for children and supported and participated in Special Olympics and volunteered part of her time to Kiddie Park. She was also a member of the Pilot Club and the American Business Women's Association. Frankie loved to travel and visited numerous places across the United States and several foreign countries. She loved to cook, and enjoyed scrap booking and cross stitching. She was a best friend and relative to many people. She will be missed more than we can say or express. Frankie is survived by her brother Phillip Thomas of Bartlesville, two special friends, Cindy and Janet, a host of cousins and second cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Kennith and Alice Thomas. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the Oak Park United Methodist Church in Bartlesville. Services are under the direction of the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home.
