Benjamin Funeral Service - Nowata, Oklahoma......................... Funeral services for Freddie Franklin Hill will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 31, 2015, at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Clayton officiating. Interment will follow at Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Benjamin Funeral Service. Freddie Franklin Hill, 82, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center. He was born September 16, 1932 in Nowata County to Jack and Alice (Glass) Hill. He had lived in the Nowata community his entire life. He attended school in Nowata and graduated from the historic Lincoln High School with the graduating class of 1955. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Nowata. His memberships included Senior Citizens Group and the Salvation Army. His main hobbies and pastimes were fixing cars, lawn mowers, and playing pool. However, he enjoyed most of all spending time with his family and grandkids. On November 6, 1955 he married Theresa Elizabeth Alberty in Nowata. They later divorced and in September of 1986, he married Ruth Dick. Ruth preceded Fred in death on July 29, 2015. Fred is survived by his children, Linda Hill of Nowata, Donald Hill and wife, Siretta of Coffeyville, Kansas, Anna Hill of Nowata, Hollis Burnett and wife, Rickell of Freemont, California, Ricky Hyche of Wichita, Kansas, Randy Hyche of Bartlesville, Oklahoma., Rodney Hyche of Wichita, Kim Burnett of Independence, Kansas, Christina Roberson and her husband, Coy Belden of Nowata, Shannon Hill and fiancée Kelsi of Nowata; raised two grandsons, Kevin Hill and wife Amy of Owasso, Landon Roberson of Nowata; brothers and sisters, Rev. Thomas J. Hill and wife, Wanda of Nowata, Clarence Hill of California, David Hill and wife, Melva of Nowata, Ricky Hill of Nowata; two cousins Sammie Bridges of Tucson, Arizona, Margret Morrison of Alta Dena, CA; twenty grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Mr. Hill is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Alice Hill; his wife, Ruth Hill; brothers and sisters, Nelsine Dennis, Betty Cunningham and Charles Hill.
