Freddie Lee Woolman, 85 year old longtime Delaware resident died Tuesday June 7, 2011 at Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center. He was born June 14, 1925 in Alluwe, Oklahoma the son of Roy Allen Woolman and Dottie Fink Woolman. Freddie was raised and educated in the Nowata area and was united in marriage with Rosie Fink in Nowata on July 24, 1848. Freddie worked for many years in the oil fields and later worked as a carpenter until his retirement. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Delaware and enjoyed fishing, Camping and picking up pecans. Mr. Woolman leaves behind his wife Rosie of the home, one daughter, Linda Thomas of Broken Arrow, OK, one brother, Ted Woolman of Nowata, OK, two sisters: Betty Wortington, Denna Livingston of Afton, OK, grand children: Eric and his wife Sarah Higgins, Jason Thomas, Jeffery Thomas and his wife Autum, three great grandchildren: Kaylah Higgins, Alexandra Higgins, and Tori Thomas and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Freddie in death were his parents, one son Freddie Lee Higgins, two sisters, Annabelle Bellary, Lois Mae Mullis and a brother Billy Nichols, Graveside Funeral Services will be held Friday June 10, 2011 at Winganon Cemetery at 10:00 am with Rev.
