Gary Mallow

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home - Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261 Gary D. Mallow, 72, passed away October 31, 2016 at his home in Grove, Oklahoma. Gary was born November 16, 1943 in Pampa, Texas to James E. and Kathleen (Etchison) Mallow. At a young age the family moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma where he grew up and graduated from College High School in 1961. Gary earned his Bachelor degree from North Texas State University in Denton, Texas. He later graduated from the University of Tulsa Law School. He became the Assistant District Attorney for Delaware County in 1971, while in private practice he also served as Grove's City Attorney for approximately 30 years. Gary retired from private practice in 2009. Gary enjoyed fishing, golf, OU football, Dallas Cowboys and listening to Elvis. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Phoenix. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Judy; son Jason, daughter Tabitha and husband, Ben Parenti; granddaughter Ophelia and grandson Alexander; one brother, Ron Mallow and wife, Sonia; brother-in-law Ed Sains and wife, Gail; brother-in-law Johnnie Engelbert and wife, Linda, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. The family wishes to convey their sincere thanks and gratitude to the wonderful people at Carter Home Healthcare and Good Shepherd Hospice. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or charity of your choice. A private service will be held at a later date.
