Benjamin Funeral Service - Nowata, Oklahoma - 918-273-2700........................................................ Geneva June (Twitchell) Little was born in Coffeyville, Ks on November 19th, 1933 to Sam and Alma B. (Manes) Twitchell and left her earthly home and crossed over to her heavenly home on January 4th, 2017. June grew up in the Coffeyville and Dearing area where she attended school. On July 19th, 1954 she married James (Jim) Little in Muskogee, Ok. After living for a brief time in Sperry, Ok they made their home in Delaware, Ok where they lived for over 55 years. June was a wonderful wife and homemaker, but first and foremost a true mama and granny. She enjoyed reading, listening to gospel music, watching her Christian programs and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grand babies. In her earlier years she enjoyed cooking, cleaning, gardening and canning. Everyone that knew her loved her because she was a positive influence in their life. She never met a stranger and everyone that ever entered her home was made to feel like family. She is and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Our hearts are shattered and the emptiness will remain until we meet mama again in glory. June is survived by 8 of her children, James (Bub) and Kim Little of Nowata, Donna Loffer of Delaware, Anna and Danny Koscelny of Nowata, Brenda and Mike Perser of Nowata, Betty and Larry Holzhauser of Delaware, Jerri and Todd Sutherlin of Nowata, Benny and Christy Little of Nowata and Sammy Little of Delaware. Six grandsons, Joe and Dave Koscelny, Luke and Josh Cartwright, Mark Loffer and Jimmy Lee Little. One granddaughter Emily Jean Little, two great granddaughters Summer Dawn "Miss Winter" Koscelny and Klover Nancy-Lynn Cartwright and two great grandsons Kale Dwayne Cartwright and Tripp Mason Loffer. One brother Richard (Bud) Twitchell of Tyro, Ks and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, two daughters Nancy and Becky Little, a Son-in-Law Steve Loffer, three grandsons, Jesse, James and Mason Loffer, her parents, 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services for June Little will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017, at the Benjamin Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery of Nowata.
