George Wilkerson Copeland, age 74 of Vinita, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010. George was born in Vinita on October 23, 1935, the son of Wilkinson Soloman Copeland and Flora Mae (Culver) Copeland. He loved to fish, watch westerns, and play his guitar. He worked as a roofer for several years. George is survived by two daughters Teresa and Karen Copeland of Vinita, two grandchildren; Jason Risman and Adam Cabalbag of Vinita, and two great grandchildren; Donovan and Paul Risman of Disney. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Sylvester Bowez and Charles W. Copeland, and sister Mary Ethel Copeland Scott. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., April 6, 2010 at Luginbuel Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Baker officiating. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
