Georgia Mae Badley, 78 year old resident of Strang, died Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Monroe Manor Nursing Center in Jay. She was born December 7, 1935 in Strang to John Edward Trice and Tempa (Wickliff) Trice. Georgia was a 1953 graduate of Ketchum High School. On July 2, 1958 she married Bobby Jack Badley in Miami, he preceded her in death on January 12, 2008. Georgia worked in many capacities in the Ketchum School System, teacher's aide, cafeteria, substitute teacher and secretary from 1971 to 1994. She was a member of the Ketchum Southern Baptist Church. In her spare time Georgia liked to go trout fishing in Missouri, to the horse races, working on her home and yard, and feeding the humming birds. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, granddaughter Jackie Sutton, a sister Sadie Breshears and a brother Ed Trice. The family includes; her children, June Carlisle and husband Russell of Tahlequah, Bobby Jack Badley, Jr. and Richard L. Badley of Strang, Linda Badley of Langley; sister, Laura Jean Gray of Langley, Seven grandchildren, Michael, Crystal, Vanessa, Brenton, Mitch, Cheyenne, and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Kali, Piper, Landon, Hudson, Zoey and Zander; numerous other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday evening, January 23, 2014 at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Chapel in Langley. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ketchum Southern Baptist Church in Ketchum, with Pastor Kevin Lancaster officiating.
