Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK...918-786-2261.......Georgia Marie Parsley, passed away at her home in Grove, OK on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the age of 85. Georgia was born on November 28, 1928 in Fallsville, AR, the daughter of the late Floyd Villines and Grace (Hibbard) Villines. Georgia grew up in Fallsville and worked on the farm until she reached the age of 16 where she moved to Washington. There in Washington, Georgia worked in the apple industry. She also met and married Charlie Parsley in Washington where they lived for over 30 years working for Beebe Orchards and owning their own apple orchard in Chelan, Washington. The couple raised 3 children together. Georgia enjoyed bowling and going to the casinos in her later years while being with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, and seven brothers. She is survived by her three children: Troy Allan Parsley and his wife Suzanne, Jimmy Don Parsley, and Brenda Gallman; six grandchildren: Kimberly Kanehailua, Farrah Parsley, Steven Parsley and his wife Mary, Stephanie Aho and her husband Eric, Matthew Gallman, and Luke Gallman; seven great grandchildren: Isiah Gosney, Shenoa Gosney, Rylan Parsley, Keana Gosney, Greysen Parsley, Ellison Parsley, and Easton Aho; two sisters: Johnnie Parkins and her husband Virgil, and Noreen Ballard and her husband Tom; and a host of other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hickory Grove Church in memory of Georgia. The graveside service will be held at the Bethesda Cemetery on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 2PM with Pastor Melvin Jackson, presiding. There will be a public visitation on Sunday from 10AM to 5PM at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK.
