Benjamin Funeral Home - Aylene Coppock passed from this life Sunday, April 27, 2014, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was born august 15, 1930, in Lenapah, Oklahoma, to Arthur Nelson and Gourney Mae (Messmore) Sonenberg. She graduated from Lenapah High School in 1948 where she was a member of the women's basketball team that advanced to the State Playoffs. She enjoyed playing basketball and was an avid basketball fan. She enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. Aylene especially enjoyed traveling to Wyoming. On December 1, 1992 she married Arthur Coppock in Commerce, Oklahoma. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother that will be missed by all who knew her. Preceding Mrs. Copock in death are her parents Arthur and Gourney Mae Sonenberg; her first husband, James Marshall "Little Jimmy" Dickson; and a sister Virginia Cole. Survivors include her husband Arthur Coppock, of the home in Nowata; two sons, James Nelson (Butch) Dickson and wife Kay, of Texarkana, Texas, John Marshall Dickson and wife Terry, of Wann, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Blake Dickson, Cami Browning, Brenna Underhill, Travis Dickson, Marshall Dickson, Cody Dickson; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dewight Nelson Sonenberg; many other relatives as well as a host of friends.
