Glenda Mccarley

Glenda McCarley 74 year old Eucha resident, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at her home. She was born September 10, 1937 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Arthur Joseph Gilbreath and Carrie Elizabeth (Mullin) Gilbreath. Glenda was a well know esthetician in Tulsa, where she worked at Miss Jackson's and was the Elizabeth Arden representative. She had done make up for many of the local newscast people, many celebrities, including Liza Minelli. Glenda was an avid reader, cleaner, dancer, music listener (rock and roll fan) and just loved to be in the public. The family includes: her husband Carl Hughes, daughter, Connie McCarley of Eucha, two sons Kevin McCarley of Tulsa, Jack Diamond of Sand Springs; grandchildren, Shelby Ogden, Sierra Waters, Morgan McCarley and Kaenen McCarley. Preceding her in death were four siblings; Daisy Gilbreath, Twila Werner, A. J. Gilbreath and Pete Gilbreath. The family will hold a private service at a later date.
