Goldie Hale

Goldie Mae Hale, 77 year old Vinita resident, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. She was born on October 12, 1938 in Vian, Oklahoma to Jess and Edith (Fletcher) Pearson. Goldie was a graduate of Webbers Falls High School. On September 5, 1962, she married Galen Hale, they would have been married 54 years this year. Goldie was retired from Public Service of Oklahoma in Tulsa, she was currently an employee of the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. She liked to read romance novels, was very knowledgeable of all sports. Goldie was a big fan of the New York Yankee's, Oklahoma Sooner's, Dallas Cowboy's, Boston Celtic's and the OKC Thunder. She also loved to take trips to Branson. Goldie was also a big fan of her grandchildren and the sports they played. She will be missed dearly by her family and co-workers. Preceding her in death were her parents, sister and brother in-law Francis and Bobby Jones, brother in-law Sterling Ferguson. The family includes: Her husband Galen of the home, daughters, Gwen Wisdom and husband Jim of Vinita, Gayla Cremin and husband Bernie of Tulsa; grandchildren, Matt Wisdom, Keagan Cremin, Rachel Cremin and Blake Wisdom; siblings, Leola Ferguson of Collinsville, Emma Darris of Sperry, Linda Pearson of Glennpool, Mary Tiffany and husband Galen of Catoosa, Jesse Pearson and wife Mindy of Kingwood, Texas; brothers in-law, Tom and Gary Hale both of Sallisaw; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 3-5 PM on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Dean Bridges officiating.
