Grace Creason

Gracie Laura Creason, 70 year-old Vinita resident passed away Friday, February 6, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, after a short illness. Gracie was born in Centralia to Ora B. and Alma (Cox) Leforce. She was retired from Home of Hope after 22 years of service. She loved to can fresh vegetables and fruit, go fishing, and hunting. She was loved by all that knew her. Survivors include: one son, Stephen Creason of Tulsa, a brotherWilliam H. Leforce and wife Virginia of Hastings, Michigan, a sister Vi Leforce of Vinita, a special niece, Dr. Jeane Russell Lanier and husband Paul of Tulsa, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relative and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Dale, one son David, sisters, LaVerne Carswell, Maxine Ross, Margaret Nail, Betty Lane, Kathy Lipp, and four brothers, LeRoy, Donald, John and Samuel Leforce and one grandchild. Services will be Monday, February 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Luginbuel Chapel with Pastors Lindey and Don Leforce officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
