HENDRICKSON, GRACE MARIE, 97 passed away on August 23, 2013, at her home in Bartlesville, OK. She was born January 11, 1916 in Wann, Oklahoma to Vick King and Blanche Marie Davis King. She was raised in Wann, Oklahoma graduating from Wann High School in 1933. Grace was married to Gleason R. "Bud" Hendrickson on July 9, 1938. After many years of pipelining all over the country, they settled in Bartlesville to raise their family. After their children were grown, they moved to Delaware, OK to a farm where they farmed and went into the oil business. Their farm was host to many family reunions, holiday gatherings, barbecues and celebrations for many years. Bud and Grace were always the perfect hosts. She is survived by one daughter, Greta Henisey and her husband Larry of Bartlesville, one sister Claudine Bailey of Wann, two brothers, Junior King and Ted King both of Lenapah, eight grandchildren, Elizabeth Tarbutton and her husband Ron of Stillwater, OK, Mark Henisey and his wife Gale of Tacoma, WA, Tammy Beagles and her husband Brian of Ramona, OK, Peggy Grimes and her husband Craig of Broken Arrow, OK, Shawn Hendrickson and his wife Della of Whitefield, OK, Melinda Henisey of Fleetwood, PA, Suzanne Hendrickson, of Carrollton, TX, and Kendra Hendrickson of Stigler, OK; daughter-in-law Linda Hendrickson of Bartlesville, OK, daughter-in-law Janice Hendrickson of Delaware, OK, 13 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and 47 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Gleason R. "Bud" Hendrickson in 1988, son Lester D. Hendrickson in 1999, son Jimmy G. Hendrickson in 2003, two sisters Doris Thompson and Elizabeth Keys, four brothers Clyde King, Verlon "Jack" King, Jerry King and Dewayne King. The family would like to acknowledge the loving care that was given to her over the past 8 years by her caregiver Pam House and most recently caregivers Christy Little and Kay Garrett. Grace was always ready to help others and openly greeted others with a caring heart. All of those that she touched with a gentle spirit have been blessed with an unconditional love. Visitation will be Monday, August 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benjamin Funeral Home in Nowata, Oklahoma. Services will be held Tuesday, August 27 at 2 p.m. at Grace Epworth United Methodist Church, 706 SE 3rd, Bartlesville, OK, followed by the interment at the Robbins Cemetery in Coffeyville, KS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Epworth United Methodist Church or 10-33 Emergency Team, Nowata, OK 74048.
