Grace Young

Grace Fern Young, 95 year-old former Centralia resident, died Sunday, July 22, 2007 at the Silver Lake Care Center in Bartlesville. She was born September 14, 1911 in Vinita to John R. Reheard and Alice C. Stauffer Reheard. Grace attended Vinita area schools growing up. She married Edwin T. Young on October 8th 1927 in Vinita, they made their home in and around Centralia. Edwin preceded her in death in 1995. The family includes: her four sons, Bill Young and wife Wilma of Vinita, Loyd Young and wife Laura of Ft. Gibson, Bob Young and wife Peggy, Ed Young and wife Jackie all of Bartlesville, one daughter Kathie Young of Vinita, twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Others preceding her in death include her parents, and all eight of her siblings. The funeral will be held Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Luginbuel Chapel, with Pastor Odell Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at the Bluejacket Cemetery.
