Gregory Deon Ricks, age 34, a resident of Bartlesville died Saturday August 5, 2006 at his home. He was born May 25, 1972 in Dumas, Arkansas the son of Alfonzo Bell and Earnistine Spencer Ricks. The family moved to Bartlesville from Dumas in 1983 where he completed his education and worked with Asplundh tree service. Greg was an avid sports enthusiast, especially football and the play station. He was a big hearted man that loved his family, hosting family gatherings, BBQ'S, going fishing with his family and friends and enjoyed helping out others whenever he could. He is survived by his mother, Earnestine Ricks of Bartlesville, four brothers, Nathaniel Ricks, Randy Ricks, Corrie Walker and Marcus Grayson Ricks all of Bartlesville, His Fiancée Angie Cunningham, two sons Deontre' Tuttle Ricks and Demetri Joseph Ricks, three daughters, Paris Bennett Ricks, Justice Marie Ricks and Destiny Lynn Ricks, three aunts, Odessa & Johnnie Lee Davis, Betty & James and Christine Spencer, three uncles, Alonzo Spencer, Henry Spencer, Chester and Charlote Spencer, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Marquis Laron Walker. Funeral services will be Friday August 11, 2006 at the First Christian Church at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Gary L. Hagan officiating with interment to follow in White Rose Cemetery under the direction of the Neekamp - Luginbuel Funeral Home of Bartlesville.
