Grover Buzzard, lifetime Jay resident, died peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Wednesday July 11, 2012 at the age of 70 years. He was born in Delaware County on April 21, 1942 to his parents William and Mary (Toolate) Buzzard. Grover married Adeline Stover in Miami, OK on December 16, 1977. He was a member of Pine Ridge Church in Jay, Oklahoma. His hobbies included wood carving, attending Pow-wows, and he enjoyed arts and crafts. Grover is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Adeline; sisters, Mary Jane Smith and Becky Johnson. He leaves many loving memories with his family, sons, Rodney Buzzard and Derick Buzzard and wife Casey; daughter Kaylen Buzzard, Vicki Littledave and husband Marcus, Lila Cornshucker and husband Fred Miller; brothers, Junior, Ray, Donnie and wife Melba, Archie and wife Linda, Eddie and wife Donna, Bobby and wife Kim; sister Stella Roberts and husband Bo; grandchildren, Billy Clinkenbeard, Leigha Black and husband Jeremy, Sara Littledave and Shane Littledave; great-grandchildren, Mason Clinkenbeard and Logan Black; and many other loving relatives and a host of friends. Visitation will be Sunday evening 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay. Services will be 2:00 PM Monday July 16, 2012 at Round Springs Baptist Church with Clifford Loftis Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Round Springs Cemetery.
