Grover Hobbs

Grover Duane Hobbs, 71 year old Bluejacket resident, died early Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Miami Nursing Center. He was born September 28, 1941 in Gravette, Arkansas to Jasper and Bessie (Smith) Hobbs. Grover had lived in this area all his life; he loved to fish and collect things. The family includes: his sisters, Velma Bennett of Bluejacket and Alma Lyons of Adair; brother, Roy Hobbs of Adair. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Leonard, Loyd, Lawrence and Granville Hobbs; sister, Elvie Engle. The graveside funeral will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the McLaughlin Cemetery near Cleora, with Pastor Justin Turner officiating.
