Gwenyth Lee Frazier, age 76 of Adair, passed away Monday, December 14, 2009. She was born in rural Craig County on July 27, 1933, the youngest child of 8, to Charlie and Arizona Marker. She attended grade school in Pensacola and finished at Ketchum High School, graduating in 1951. She worked at Eastern State Hospital until she married Tommy Frazier on January 14, 1955. Together they raised three children. Besides being a mother, Gwenyth volunteered as a teen town sponsor, managed the Adair Senior Citizens, and ran her own craft business. She was a wonderful seamstress, mother to many, and attended the Adair United Methodist Church. Survivors include her two daughters Gwenna Charles and husband Greg of Vinita, Jana McLain and husband Jeff of Claremore, and son Michael Frazier of Adair, five grandchildren: Shane Charles and wife Vicki, Cheyene Charles, Lacy K. Frazier, Pvt. S. Garrett Frazier, and Travis Caffey, one sister Gladys Carr, sister-in-law Pat Russell and husband Doug of Adair, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. She is preceded in death by her parents 4 brothers, and 2 siststers. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2009. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2009 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with Pastor Claude Strong officiating. Interment will follow at Adair Cemetery.
