Harmon Davenport

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261 Harmon Hezie Davenport, 72 year old resident of Fairland, Oklahoma, passed away on February 28, 2018 in Joplin, Missouri. Harmon was born on September 27, 1945 in Altus, Arkansas. He was the son of Harmon H. and Lois M. (Marvel) Davenport. Harmon and his wife Hazel owned and operated a successful car dealership for thirty six years in Bakersfield, California. They relocated to Oklahoma in 2014. Harmon was a member of the Foundation Free Will Baptist Church located north of Grove. Harmon was preceded in death by his parents Harmon H. and Lois Davenport, his son Troy Davenport. He is survived by is wife of 57 years, Hazel (Farmer) Davenport of the home, his daughter Doris Davenport, and his grandson Joshua Davenport. Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Sam Smith and Brother Geoff Buffalo officiating.
