Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261 Hazel Teen LouElla (Maples) Crossley Bates, entered the arms of Jesus two days after her 95th birthday, at Integris Grove Hospital, on December 12, 2017. Hazel was born on December 10, 1922 in Grove, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Lon and Minnie Elizabeth (Brown) Maples. Hazel was an amazing cook, known for her homemade chicken and noodles; she was always in the kitchen cooking up a feast for her huge family. Hazel enjoyed dancing, and was quite the fashionista, and her favorite color was red. Hazel enjoyed tending to her flowers and vegetable garden. Hazel loved, loved her family. Hazel was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters; her parents; son; Mike Crossley, daughter; Imogene Bauer, granddaughter; Dee Ann Spradling, great grandson; Derek Arneecher. She will be dearly missed by her three boys; Jack Crossley and his wife Carol, Jerry Crossley and his wife Linda, Eddie Crossley and his wife Shelley; and her daughter Linda Keller and her husband Jerry, son in-law Jim Bauer, daughter in-law Joyce Crossley all of Grove, Oklahoma. Hazel was blessed with 24 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8pm, Friday, December 15, 2017 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. Services are scheduled for 10 am, Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Butler Baptist Church with Brother Eric Thornburg (Pastor of Heart of Praise) officiating.
