Helen Cooper age 81 of Grove died August 21, 2010 in the Grand Lake Villa Nursing Home at the age of 81. The daughter of Arthur Houston Barnard and Alice Turnbow, She was born on November 16, 1928 in Bristow, OK. Helen married James Cooper in September of 1977 in Miami, OK. They lived in Grove where she enjoyed gardening, flowers and keeping a beautiful home. Surviving are her husband James Cooper, stepchildren Jack Cooper and wife Carol, Bonnie Hicks and husband Wayne, and Kayleen Tuttle and husband J.W. 9 step grandchildren and 17 step great grandchildren The graveside funeral will be in the Olympus Cemetery North at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 with Jim Hale officiating. The arrangements are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK.
