Helen Crockett

Helen L. Crockett obit Helen Crockett age 92 died Friday August 27, 2010 in the Cherokee County Nursing Center in Tahlequah, OK The daughter of John and Julia Yavelak Andriko, she was born on August 28, 1917 in Powhattan West Virginia. Helen married William Todd Crockett on April 6, 1944 and he proceeded in death on October 17, 1977. She had worked for J C Penny in Miami. Helen was a member of the First Christian Church in Miami, where she attended the Martin Class. She was on the Ottawa County Election Board. Helen loved cooking and baking. Surviving are two daughters Janeth Smith in Tahlequah and Karen Crockett in Miami. Two granddaughters Heather Carter and husband Lacey in Park Hill, and Shawna Smith in Wichita, KS. Three Great granddaughters Hanah Daugherty in Park Hill, Emma Carter in Park Hill, and Lacey Nicole Carter in Park Hill. Sisters Eva Tancos in Newton Falls, Ohio, and Sue Jones in Cortland, Ohio. A Brother Paul Andriko in Newton Fall, Ohio Proceeding in death were her parents, Husband, three sisters Julie Rogas, Ann Gnandt, and Mary Blasko. Four brothers John, Michael, Stephen and Nicholas Andrick. The funeral will be at the graveside in the Buzzard Cemetery in Grove, OK with Pastor Leon Weece officiating. At 11 am on Tuesday August 31, 2010. The services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral home in Grove, OK. The family suggest donations to the First Christian Church in Miami in lieu of flowers.
