Helen Daniels

Helen Mary Daniels, age 100, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was born June 9, 1911 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Mary (Kruczek) Hamerla and Kazimirz Hamerla. Helen married Carl Edward Daniels, Sr. on April 15, 1928 in Nowata, Oklahoma. They grew their family with a son, Carl, Jr. in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Helen attended St. John Catholic Church in Bartlesville and worked at Woolaroc for over 20 years. She very much loved her garden and her beautiful flowers. She moved from Bartlesville to Lake Mary, Florida in 2003 to be near her family. Her last several years were wonderful, traveling and spending time with her son and her granddaughter's family. Helen is survived by her son, Carl Daniels, Jr. of Lake Mary, Florida; granddaughter, Jill Crawford and her husband, Richard of Lake Mary, Florida and two great grandchildren, Rachel Crawford and Daniel Crawford. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Daniels, Sr.; three sisters, Pauline Merlin, Juanita Maroney and Josephine Santos; three brothers, including Louis Hamerla, who was killed in action during WWII ; daughter-in-law, Dolores (Loveland) Daniels and two grandsons, Rick G. Daniels and Jack E. Daniels. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Arnold Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Father Festus Maliwa will officiate.
