Herbert Wilkinson

Herbert Loyd Wilkinson, 86 year old Nowata resident died January 9, 2013 at his home. He was born August 15, 1926 in Nowata to Albert L. Wilkinson and Ethel Carter Wilkinson. After graduating Nowata High School, Herb served two years in the US Army. On completion of his enlistment he returned to Nowata and worked as a television service repairman. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Herb is survived by a niece, Louise Tawzer and her husband Don of Dodge City, Kansas; a great nephew Aaron Tawzer and wife Jennifer of Pratt, Kansas and great, great nephew Jacob Tawzer. He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Ethel Wilkinson and three brothers, Buddy Wilkinson, Bob Wilkinson, and Gene Wilkinson. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel with Ben Killion officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com.
